Before and After
• Pt. Contact
• IV Care
• Wound Care
• Insertion of Invasive devices (Foley, IV cath)
• Mucous Membrane Contact
• Body Fluid Contact
After
• Blowing your nose or coughing into your hands
• Removing gloves
• Handling patient equipment
• Bathroom (must use soap!)
• Housekeeping activities
• Petting animals (must use soap!)
